Oyster Festival
Supporting the local oyster fishing community and giving people the chance to taste local oysters and also have a go in the oyster shucking competition! There are also many music events, craft stalls and other family fun activities.
Predominately a week of various sailing races there is as much going on the shore as on the water. Music gigs, themed evenings and tribute bands all appear as well science in the square, which is run by Exeter University in Events square allowing people to get up close and personal with lots of creatures including hedgehogs, bugs and lots of under water species.
Monthly through the summer, Source FM hosts park live a free music event in Kimberley park, in the middle of Falmouth town. Local artists of all varieties of music play in the park, it is a lovely family friendly atmosphere, take a picnic for the perfect afternoon.
Zestifal
Zestifal is a unique sport and well being event, designed to get people out and about exercising and trying new sports etc. Activities such as pilates, zumba, tennis, climbing, scuba diving, circus skills and paddle boarding will be inviting people of all ages to have a go, a great opportunity to have a go and try something new.
A big hit with anyone who wants to try out a variety of beers and ales from local breweries around Cornwall.
Held in the town every June, the sea shanty festival is a popular event for locals. Many Cornish people enjoy singing the old songs and the atmosphere of camaraderie and fun is in the air. Different groups perform on many different stages outside pubs throughout the high street.

Christmas is a fun time to be in Cornwall, the light switch on in Falmouth kick starts the christmas markets and festive goings on!
