If you should happen to walk the South West Coast path between Perranuthanoe and Prussia Cove in Mount’s Bay you may glance inland for a moment and spot Acton Castle sitting high above the sea shore. To the west you will see the iconic silhouette of St Michael’s Mount — to the east the dramatic profile of Cudden Point, to the South, nothing but nothing but the Atlantic stretching silvery to the far sparkling horizon.
