Lusty Glaze — Sunday Times beach of the year 2017

IMG 2885

With its unparalleled views across Newquay Bay, live music nights and a fabulous restaurant is it any wonder that Lusty Glaze has won the Sunday Times best British beach of the year for 2017! The beach is perfectly hidden away, 133 steps from street level making it far enough from the town centre to feel exclusive and truly ticks all of the boxes for the perfect beach location. From relaxing on the gorgeous golden sands, or enjoying some of the watersports and volleyball available for the sporty types there is something for everyone.

Lusty Glaze is privately owned, brings a distinctly Aussie vibe to Cornwall’s North Shore and has certainly been in fierce competition with the area’s other stunning beaches.

Not only does the beach have plenty going on by day, the night sees activity also with famous acts such as Newton Faulkner and Razorlight playing on the stage, or if the music taste is slightly different maybe classical music will do, sitting on the sand whilst the sun goes down enjoying a local cider or ale.

What’s not to like. All that’s needed now are some beautiful properties to rest those weary heads at the end of a Lusty Glaze packed day. At Forever Cornwall we have two beautiful properties to chose from in the area, Ultramarine and The Pebble and a few more a little further afield.
