Inside Seaholly

Walking into Seaholly, you’re immediately drawn to the kitchen, dining and living rooms. The kitchen is modern, and has everything you need to cook up a storm on a holiday. Adjoined to the kitchen is the dining area for eight and the living room. This room is beautifully styled to reflect life by the sea, creating a comfortable space to chill after a long day adventuring. You also have a long L-shaped sofa and 55inch smart television to wind down in the evening. Sliding French doors gives you access the well-kept garden and suntrap, a fantastic spot for alfresco dining, summer barbecuing and sundowner drinks. Also on the ground floor is a cloakroom, WC and utility room complete with washing machine and tumble dryer.

There are four spacious bedrooms. On the top floor of the house, you will find the Principal Bedroom with a super king bed, an en suite bathroom, and a balcony with views across the dunes and out to sea. On the middle level you have three more gorgeous bedrooms: Bedroom Two is a super king room that can be made into a twin upon request, Bedroom Three is a king room and Bedroom Four is a twin that’s great for kids. This level also hosts the family bathroom where you’ll find the bath and decadent rainfall shower.

Beach at Holywell Bay near holiday cottages by Forever Cornwall

Seaholly is just five minutes walk from the stunning beach of Holywell Bay. The beach is almost a mile long of sand, sea and dunes, and bordered by rugged rocky cliffs. It’s hugely popular with surfers, a haven for families (with lifeguards present between early summer and autumn), as well as enthusiastic walkers with its dramatic and rural backdrop. You may even recognise the beach, as it has been a popular location for film and television, which includes: James Bond: Die Another Day, Poldark and Game of Thrones.

For those wanting to try their hand at surfing there are two great places to learn from: Holywell Bay School of Surf and Cornwall Surf Academy. You may find yourself walking the nearby coastline, a lot of which is lovingly managed by the National Trust. We recommend heading north of Holywell Bay Beach where you’ll find the secluded Polly Joke Beach, a great beach to escape the crowds (please note there is no lifeguard cover here). Walking further you’ll find the larger Crantock — be careful as this beach is largely tidal (high tide will cut off the beach as the water will fill the River Gannel). If you head across this way, be sure to stop for refreshments at the Bowgie Inn!

Things we love

Seaholly’s location means you can make the most of the towering dunes, sweeping golden sands and stunning Cornish sunsets at your heart’s desire. You could take a blanket and watch the sun sink into the horizon from the beach, or even from the comfort of your penthouse balcony with a glass of vino in hand. Getting out and about, you’ll love the all that’s available on the doorstep of Seaholly. You’ll be a moment’s stroll from the South West Coast Path, which can take you north to Crantock and Newquay, or south to Ligger Bay, Perran Sands and Perranporth beaches.

And of course when you return back to Seaholly, you’ll find it is a fantastic place to just be. It’s stylish and comfortable, and we particularly love the thoughtful and contemporary interior design and pastel colour scheme. Not forgetting the finishing touches that really make the holiday, like the underfloor heating, coffee machine, Neff oven and hob, pendant droplights, as well as many others. Seaholly has been tailor-made for escapism, representing coastal living at its very best. We have no doubt you will return for more!
