Falmouth is full of eateries, there are so many restaurants to choose from whatever you fancy eating, but here are some of our favourites!
1. Cribbs

Caribbean food at its best, great food in a wonderfully authentic atmosphere. Caribbean-born John has a unique take on British mixed with Caribbean flavours, making it one of the most exciting restaurants in Falmouth.
2. Harbour Lights
Proper fish and chips, fresh off the local boats in the harbour. Harbour Lights is all about sustainability, and with their flair for fresh, fairly caught fish, it is a popular stop for many visitors. You can choose to eat-in or take away (just watch out for the sea gulls).
3. The Shed
A classic steak and burger house which is cosy and contemporary, this is a great place for a social gathering they also serve good cocktails!
4. The Shack

Seafood restaurant right in the heart of the Events Square in the town, this is fun styled place serving locally caught fish in the classic dishes you want to find in a maritime setting.
5. The Wheel House
Shellfish is the order of the day: market-fresh mussels, scallops, crab and prawns served in clam-like Portuguese metal dishes with chive butter, chips, salad and a choice of house red or white wine. It’s rare to get a table at this place, but it’s always worth a try!
Please note: sadly the Wheel House will be closed from 28 May 2022 until Winter 2022. Please check their Facebook page for more information.
6. Harbour View
This restaurant is exactly what it says on the tin! The views are fantastic, but the food doesn’t disappoint either, serving great breakfasts, light lunches and delicious evening meals.
7. Castaways (Mylor Harbour)
A harbourside restaurant serving a variety of local dishes inspired by the sea. Local ingredients are used where possible, it is also a lovely place to sit in the sun with a beverage.
8. The Star and Garter
This modern pub is more of a fine dining restaurant with its dark wall tones and interesting imaginative menu. It has the feeling of being very healthy! Lovely harbour views too.
9. The Boathouse
This is a “proper Cornish pub!”. It has a stunning raised seating platform with views over the harbour and one of the best Sunday roast dinners in the area. It makes a great watering hole too!
10. The Pandora Inn (Nr Feock)
A short drive from Falmouth itself, this gastropub offers lovely meals throughout the afternoon and evening. You can even arrive by boat and moor up on the jetty. The jetty also has tables, so you can enjoy your meal on the water!
