Croft House is a reverse-split level coastal holiday home sleeping 10 across 4 bedrooms in Widemouth Bay. Just a short walk to the beach, this sea-view, dog friendly retreat is perfect for families and groups looking for an escape to the north coast of Cornwall.
Welcome to Croft House, a coastal pad of dreams just moments from beaches and coves galore... With sociable spaces throughout, Croft House takes pride in its no-through location, has a favourable open-plan living area and is very well equipped for holidays for up to 10 guests.
As you enter the retreat and ascend the staircase, you're welcomed into a spacious kitchen and dining area with a large American fridge-freezer, a double oven, wine cooler, dishwasher and everything else needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. The dining space seats ten guests and has access to the back garden area, which has further outdoor seating. Up a few stairs in the split-level home is the living area which has a balcony with seating to take in exceptional sea views of all hours of the day. There’s plenty of comfortable seating for guests and a wood burner for cosy evenings in.
All four bedrooms are located in different areas of the house for complete privacy, and all have an en-suite, meaning Croft House is a fantastic retreat for multi-families and couples. The principle bedroom has a king sized bed and the en-suite has both a shower and corner bath and is located just off the living area. The second bedroom has a double bed and en-suite, and is located downstairs. The third bedroom has twin beds and an en suite as is also downstairs. Families with children will particularly like the fourth bedroom, a bunk room, which comprises of two sets of large wooden built-in bunk beds, complete with a TV on the wall, and is located just off the kitchen-diner. The bunk room ensuite is a shower room only.
For our guests bringing dogs, there is a dog bed for four-legged friends to make themselves at home (but please bring your own bedding). This holiday home is moments away from Widemouth Bay beach which has a dog friendly section all year round (Black Rock Sands).
Outside
To the rear of the property, you'll find a decking with outdoor seating and a parasol for shade – make the most of the charcoal barbecue and cook up a storm to really complete your holiday. There's also a separate bistro-style seating area to enjoy the sun and a coffee of a morning.
Guests have access to the garage for additional storage and can make use of the beach toys and bodyboards – there's also a hose for cleaning off wetsuits. The private parking area can comfortably fit two cars, and is secured by a gate.

Blown away
We have had a wonderful week in this truly wonderful beachside home. It's just beautiful in every way, as soon as we walked in we were blown away — that view from the living room is to die for! We have really enjoyed the log burner and having some lovely, much needed chill time with our two kiddies and little dog (who has thoroughly enjoyed the beach and long walks). The house is so well equipped and the extra touches ie air fryer and slow cooker, were such a bonus! We really appreciated the welcome hamper and the logs. We cooked in mostly, but did have an amazing carvery roast dinner up at Widemouth Manor, that is a must! We also had a lovely lunch at the Black Rock Cafe, the kids loved meeting 'Rocky' the parrot who resides there. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable, welcoming stay here at Croft House — we've loved every minute! Till next time!
