Yoga and Breathwork Retreat

As winter softens and spring begins to emerge, join Forever Cornwall for a soothing long weekend of yoga, breathwork, nourishing food and gentle time on the Helford. Set in the serene surroundings of Kestle Barton, this experience is open to all levels, whether you’re brand new to yoga or deepening your practice. The practices will be adaptable and accessible so that you feel both challenged and supported. Above all, the aim is to have fun.

Surrounded by peaceful gardens and woodland paths, this three-night retreat offers space to breathe deeply, move with intention, and settle into a slower rhythm. Across the weekend you will experience a blend of energising morning practices, cosy afternoon sessions, meditation, mantra, nourishing food, and time in nature. Catering throughout the retreat is provided by a retreat chef, whose thoughtful vegetarian cooking brings warmth, colour and exceptional flavour to each meal.

What you’ll be doing

Across three unhurried days with Forever Cornwall, you’ll enjoy:

  • Morning energising yoga to awaken the body and mind.

  • Restorative afternoon and evening sessions, including yin yoga, breathwork, mantra and yoga nidra.

  • Delicious home made vegetarian meals cooked by our retreat chef.

  • Optional walks through Kestle Barton’s woodland and along the peaceful Helford creeks.

  • Plenty of free time to rest, read, wander or simply breathe.

Guided by experienced teachers Keren Cooksey (yoga) and Keira Jose (breathwork), this weekend offers a supportive, inclusive space to reconnect, reset and feel nourished from the inside out.

Key details

  • Arrival: Friday, between 4pm and 5pm

  • First session: Gentle welcoming yoga from 5.30–6.30pm

  • Daily schedule: Morning practice, midday workshops or walks, restful afternoons, and calming evening sessions

  • Final morning practice: Monday, 7.30am

  • Departure: Monday, by 10am

Where you’ll stay

You’ll stay in one of our beautifully restored barns, cottages or the farmhouse at Kestle Barton — warm, spacious and wrapped in countryside calm. Rooms are twins or doubles, with the option to share, join as a group, or book a space exclusively (supplement applies).

Food

This is a fully catered weekend, with delicious vegetarian meals cooked by our retreat chef — colourful, nourishing, seasonal dishes that support your practice.

Kestle Barton sits on the edge of Frenchman’s Creek, surrounded by wildflower meadows, woodland paths and big skies. It’s a deeply calming setting that encourages slow mornings, thoughtful movement and deep rest.

The cost

Price from £575 per person, and includes:

  • Accommodation Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
  • This is a fully catered retreat.
  • Three practices per day on Saturday and Sunday, one on Monday.
  • Note a supplement is payable if you want exclusive use of a cottage as a single or couple.

Meet your instructors

Yoga: Keren Cooksey
Keren Cooksey has practised yoga for over two decades and taught for many years across different continents and trained over 100 yoga teachers. she was previoulsy the owner of Falmouth Yoga Space. She trained in Australia and the US, with multiple teacher trainings spanning Hatha, Lotus Flow™, Kundalini, and trauma-informed yoga. She believes in a holistic approach -combining asana, pranayama, meditation and philosophy. Her teaching style is inclusive, light-hearted, and welcoming - perfect for all levels, whether you are new to yoga or more experienced.
Breathwork: Keira Jose
Keira has been on a journey of healing and transformation for the past 18 years. Her passion for complementary therapies began with Reflexology, Reiki, massage, aromatherapy, EFT, and mindfulness, all of which have deeply shaped her practice and approach. Over the years, Keira has had the privilege of helping others connect with their inner healing and find balance in their lives. ​Five years ago, Keira discovered breathwork. This powerful practice resonated with her on a deep level, and it quickly became her passion. Breathwork is something Kerira wanted to share with others and is now the heart of what she does. ​Whether you're seeking relaxation, emotional healing, or a deeper connection to yourself, Keira's aim is to create a safe and nurturing space for you to explore, heal, and thrive.
