Starfish Apartment is one of four light and modern apartments seconds from Gylly beach in Falmouth. Renovated in 2020, this first floor studio apartment has beautiful sea views and sleeps two, has a well equipped kitchen and large windows to let in plenty of fresh sea air.
Short breaks are available on selected dates from October – March (2 night minimum). If your desired dates are not bookable online please contact the team here.
Although small in size, Starfish Apartment doesn’t compromise on quality, and comfortably sleeps two people looking for a romantic break to the beautiful south coast of Cornwall. Entering the apartment from the vestibule, you will immediately be greeted by views of Gylly beach through the large triple windows, with far reaching views of Falmouth bay.
The open plan apartment has a scandi-style double bed, with relaxing neutral tones throughout. There’s a sofa for two, a modern kitchen and dining table by the windows to enjoy breakfast with a view of Falmouth’s epic sunrises.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower, WC and basin.
Exiting the front door of your apartment and walking straight ahead will take you straight to one of Falmouth’s most popular sandy beaches. The Bay View apartment building itself is beautifully kept and doesn’t look like your typical apartment block. It is small and has a homely feel. It has been used as holiday apartments for a number of years before having extensive renovations.
Not only are you perfectly located for those lovely beach days, but you’re also walking distance to Falmouth’s town centre, where you’ll find an abundance of restaurants, shops, bakeries, bars and pubs.
There’s ample parking but with everything you need less than 10 minutes away, you really can enjoy Cornwall without the car.
Things we love
The apartment is just a stone’s throw from Gylly, a Falmouth beach popular with sea swimmers, evening walkers and sunrise watchers. The beaches of Falmouth are arguably some of the best places to swim all year round, as well as have a go at paddle boarding and kayaking. Just ten minutes away, Falmouth town is an arty, creative hub with a huge choice of things to see and do. It’s worth taking your pick from numerous top fine dining, cafes and takeaways serving some of the best seafood in the county before returning back to your blissful home by the sea.
